Best known perhaps are the fjords - deep, glacially carved valleys created millions of years ago, now flooded by the sea. As they cut their way into the inland, the fjords create spectacular scenery, famous for its dramatic looks and stunning beauty.

The world knows Norway as the Land of the Midnight Sun. In the North the sun never truly sets during the summer months. This allows around the clock filming, even shooting night for day! Even if it is cloudy, these light nights are still a completely unique experience. The "magic hour" actually lasts several hours! The nights are light during the summer in the rest of the country too, with sunset as late as 22.30 and sunrise again at 03.00, which means exposure-light for hours and hours.
